Verbesserung der internationalen Lohnstückkostenposition trotz beschleunigten Lohnauftriebs

Abstract

Während sich 1991 der Lohnauftrieb beschleunigte, hat sich die Steigerung der Produktivität deutlich abgeschwächt. Die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Lohnstückkosten weisen daher den höchsten Zuwachs seit 1981 aus, und die Lohnquote, die in den achtziger Jahren kontinuierlich gesunken war, hat sich wieder etwas erholt. Da aber im Ausland der Lohnkostenauftrieb höher war als in Österreich, sind die relativen Lohnstückkosten gesunken, und die preisbestimmte Wettbewerbsposition hat sich verbessert.
