1993 leichter Anstieg der Industrierohstoffpreise. Entwicklung und Prognose der Weltmarktpreise von Industrierohstoffen

Abstract

Auf dem Weltmarkt für Industrierohstoffe setzte Mitte 1992 ein leichter Aufwärtstrend der Preise ein. Nach dem starken Preisrückgang 1991 (–11%) war die Jahresveränderungsrate 1992 in der Folge nur noch schwach negativ (–2%). Für 1993 wird – vorausgesetzt, die Konjunktur stabilisiert sich etwas – ein Anhalten des leichten Aufwärtstrends der zweiten Jahreshälfte 1992 erwartet (+6%). Insbesondere die NE-Metalle Blei, Aluminium und Zinn, aber auch die agrarischen Industrierohstoffe sollten auf dem Weltmarkt 1993 eine steigende Preistendenz aufweisen. Im österreichischen Import war 1992 noch keine Verteuerung spürbar (auf Schillingbasis), gerade einige wichtige Industrierohstoffe wie Baumwolle, Aluminium oder Blei wurden billiger. Mit einer gewissen Verzögerung dürften die Preissteigerungen des Weltmarktes auch Österreich erreichen.
