Cash-flow der Industrie 1991 von Konjunkturflaute erfaßt

Abstract

Die österreichische Industrie mußte 1991 einen Rückgang ihrer Ertragskraft hinnehmen, die Cash-flow-Quote sank von 33% (1990) auf 30%. Der Cash-flow unterschritt infolge der Abschwächung der Industriekonjunktur das Niveau des Vorjahres um 5%. Die Konjunkturschwäche erfaßte nahezu alle Bereiche der Industrie, lediglich jene Branchen, die von der noch florierenden Baukonjunktur unmittelbar profitieren (etwa die Baustoffzulieferer), konnten ihre Ertragskraft auf dem hohen Niveau der Jahre 1989 und 1990 stabilisieren. Die nachlassende internationale Investitionskonjunktur und der Verdrängungswettbewerb in Deutschland schmälerten vor allem die Erträge der heimischen Investitionsgüterindustrie. Dieser Sektor unterschritt das Rekordergebnis des Jahres 1990 deutlich. In der stark rückläufigen Ertragsentwicklung des Basissektors machte sich nicht nur die Konjunkturabschwächung auf den internationalen Grundstoffmärkten bemerkbar, sie sind auch die unmittelbare Konsequenz noch ungelöster Strukturprobleme.
