Weltkonjunktur ohne Gleichklang

Abstract

Die Weltkonjunktur verläuft gegenwärtig nicht harmonisch. Dem beginnenden Aufschwung in den USA steht eine deutliche Abflachung in Europa und Japan gegenüber. Die Prognosen des Wirtschaftswachstums müssen 1993 für die OECD insgesamt auf 2%, für OECD-Europa auf 1¼% gesenkt werden. Deutlich verschlechtert haben sich die Aussichten für Deutschland. Außerhalb der USA tritt eine Konjunkturbelebung nicht vor Ende 1993 ein. 1994 wird mit einer allmählichen Beschleunigung auf 3% bzw. 2½% gerechnet. Die Inflation bleibt niedrig, die Arbeitslosigkeit steigt.
