Osteuropas Öffnung zum Westen. Ost-West-Handel 1990 und Aussichten bis 1992

Abstract

Der neue Ost-West-Handel (ohne DDR, aber einschließlich Jugoslawien als Handelspartner) wuchs 1990 nur mäßig (real etwa +3%). Einem expandierenden Warenaustausch mit Osteuropa stand ein Rückgang des Handels mit der UdSSR gegenüber. Bemerkenswert waren die Erfolge der Reformländer im Export höherwertiger Produkte. 1991 und 1992 dürfte sich der Ost-West-Handel – vor allem der Handel mit Osteuropa – etwas beleben. Das "credit rating" der Oststaaten verschlechterte sich 1990 spürbar, obwohl die Verschuldung selbst nur mäßig (um 8 Mrd. $ auf 160 Mrd. $) – und dies vor allem infolge des Wechselkurseffektes – stieg.
