Wiener Aktienbörse. Institutionelle und organisatorische Reform im internationalen Vergleich

Abstract

Die weltweite Liberalisierung und Deregulierung der Kapitalmärkte hat Struktur- und Organisationsreformen der europäischen Börsen bewirkt. Computerunterstützung für Handel und Information, neue und raschere Abwicklungsorganisation, neue Handelsformen und Zulassungsbestimmungen sowie Druck auf die Transaktionskosten sind die herausragenden Merkmale dieser Reform. Die Wiener Börse hat sich diesem Trend angeschlossen, um im verstärkten Wettbewerb bestehen zu können (Börsegesetz, Rechnungslegungsgesetz). Ein maßgeblicher Standard der Wiener Reform waren die Anpassung an die einschlägigen EG-Richtlinien. Trotzdem besteht in einigen Bereichen weiterhin Nachholbedarf, besonders in der "Börsenkultur", der Markttiefe (Zahl der handelnden Akteure), in Niveau und Qualität der den Investoren bereitgestellten Informationen.
