Gute mittelfristige Wachstumsaussichten für Österreichs Wirtschaft. Prognose bis 1995

Abstract

Begünstigt durch die deutsche Wiedervereinigung und die Binnenmarktdynamik der EG wird Österreichs Wirtschaft bis 1995 im Durchschnitt real um 3,2% pro Jahr wachsen. Über den Prognosezeitraum ist mit einer annähernd ausgeglichenen Leistungsbilanz zu rechnen. Infolge des zuwanderungsbedingt starken Wachstums des Angebotes an unselbständigen Arbeitskräften wird die Arbeitslosenquote zunächst noch steigen und bis zur Mitte der neunziger Jahre nur allmählich sinken. Der Preisauftrieb dürfte nach einem Höhepunkt im Jahr 1991 bis 1995 auf 3¼% abklingen.
