Leicht abgeschwächtes Wachstum der Weltwirtschaft bis 1995. Prognose der Weltwirtschaft bis 1995

Abstract

Zinssatz und Wechselkurs des Dollars werden sich im Durchschnitt der Periode 1991 bis 1995 auf dem niedrigsten Niveau der letzten 25 Jahre stabilisieren, der Erdölpreis wird etwa um die Hälfte höher sein als 1985/1990, die sonstigen Rohstoffpreise werden jedoch nur schwach steigen. Unter diesen Bedingungen dürfte der Welthandel bis 1995 um etwa 6,0% und die Weltproduktion (BIP) um etwa 2,7% pro Jahr wachsen. Während die Wirtschaft in den europäischen Industrieländern um 3,0% expandiert (ebenso rasch wie zwischen 1985 und 1990), verlangsamt sich das Wachstum in den USA deutlich (auf etwa +2,1% pro Jahr). Die Produktion in den ehemaligen Planwirtschaften (Oststaaten) wird in der schwierigen Umbruchphase der kommenden Jahre deutlich schrumpfen.
