Liberalisierung der österreichischen Devisenbestimmungen. Aspekte zu Kapitalbilanz und Geldpolitik

Abstract

Mit 4. November 1991 sind die letzten Beschränkungen im grenzüberschreitenden Zahlungs- und Kapitalverkehr weggefallen. Umfangreiche Kapitalbewegungen sind dadurch nicht unmittelbar zu erwarten, da die meisten der nunmehr bewilligungsfreien Transaktionen bereits vorher über österreichische Banken durchgeführt werden konnten. Ein Beitritt zur EG bzw. zur Europäischen Währungsunion erfordert nach heutigem Stand keine weiteren devisenrechtlichen Maßnahmen.
