Abstract

Die Bruttoverteilung des Volkseinkommens zwischen Lohn- und Nichtlohneinkommen wurde in den achtziger Jahren von einer kräftigen Expansion der Besitzeinkommen und einer Dämpfung der Lohnentwicklung aufgrund des Beschäftigungseinbruchs geprägt. Die Lohnquote ist netto, wegen höherer Abgaben stärker als brutto zurückgegangen. Während die Kaufkraft der persönlich verfügbaren Einkommen in Österreich rascher gewachsen ist, entwickelten sich die realen Nettoverdienste der Arbeiter im internationalen Durchschnitt.
