Abstract

Die Aufwärtstendenz der Konjunktur hat sich seit Jahresbeginn noch verstärkt. Die Exportdynamik blieb ungebrochen, und der Einzelhandel verzeichnete sprunghafte Umsatzsteigerungen. Die hohe Nachfrage hatte eine Ausweitung der Industrieproduktion um mehr als 10% zur Folge. Auch die Beschäftigung wuchs beträchtlich: Die Zahl der unselbständig Beschäftigten wird im Sommer erstmals nahe an die 3-Millionen-Grenze herankommen.
