Produktivität der Binnenschiffahrt in Österreich und in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

Abstract

Die DDSG konnte in den letzten 20 Jahren ihre Produktivität stark verbessern. Die Beförderungsleistung je Beschäftigten war 1988 fast 4½mal so hoch wie 1970. Damit wurde die Produktivität der deutschen Binnenschiffahrt übertroffen, die 1970 noch mehr als doppelt so hoch war wie die der DDSG. Die niedrigen Frachsätze auf der Donau schlagen sich in der Wertschöpfung nieder. Die Wertschöpfung je Beschäftigten der DDSG erreichte 1988 nur 348.000 S, in der deutschen Binnenschiffahrt war sie 2½mal so hoch.
