Kalendereffekte in der Industrieproduktion

Abstract

Die Ausschaltung von störenden Kalendereinflüssen ist die Grundvoraussetzung für eine sinnvolle Analyse monatlicher Zeitreihen der österreichischen Industrieproduktion mit statistischen Methoden. Eine mit Hilfsvariablen, die die Besonderheiten des österreichischen Kalenders adäquat wiedergeben, kalenderbereinigte Reihe der Industrieproduktion zeigt einen regelmäßigen Verlauf und ein stabiles Saisonmuster. Sie ist daher problemlos um die Saisoneinflüsse zu bereinigen und kann überdies mit Zeitreihentechniken hinreichend genau in die nähere Zukunft extrapoliert werden.
