Trotz hoher Sparneigung kräftiges Konsumwachstum

Abstract

Im 1. Halbjahr 1989 lagen die realen Ausgaben der privaten Haushalte um 2,5% über dem Vorjahresniveau, das Niveau des 2. Halbjahres 1988 übertrafen sie (saisonbereinigt) um 2,3%. Diese relativ günstige Konsumentwicklung war trotz eines Anstiegs der Sparquote möglich. Erwartungsgemäß profitierte insbesondere die Nachfrage nach dauerhaften Konsumgütern von der günstigen Einkommensentwicklung, und das erhöhte die Importquote des Konsums. Dem Einzelhandel kam neben der günstigen inländischen Nachfrage auch der Einkaufstourismus der Ungarn zugute.
