Abstract

Social enterprise is interpreted differently by different scholars and practitioners. For this reason, in order to understand in depth the meaning and content of the social enterprise, the discussion in the exposition initially refers to some basic definitions. In this respect, the purpose of the report is to formulate, based on the systematized definitive knowledge, characteristic features and new arguments for the assessment of social enterprises in economic reality. The fulfillment of this objective would lead to the overcoming of discussion problems in the interpretation of these enterprises and to the formulation of more specific parameters in the evaluation of their social and economic activity.
