Abstract

This article discusses the disadvantages of the cur rent process of data mining web resources in e-commerce and the reasonable circumstances for the application of intelligent methods. The proposed web-based system aims to overcome existing draw backs in the process of web mining, bringing together the functions of three separate types of software into one. The key module in the system is a multi-agent system that performs local expertise and web mining based on data collected from various web resources. Using such a web system for analyzing a web resource provides the tools and knowledge necessary for the proper development of the e-store.
