Abstract

The offered material is dedicated to a significant for the Secondary system development issue, that is: Elaboration of a strategy for the development of institutions from the secondary education system, and more specifically: schools and kindergartens. The research interest is also provoked by the Law on Pre-School and School Education (LPSE), in force since 2016, where the obligation to elaborate development strategies is imposed on the management of the system of secondary education organizations. As a result from the research work done, basic focus areas were systemized, on which the management of the educational institutions in the system of secondary education should accentuate when elaborating and implementing development strategy in the sense of the Law on Pre-school and School Education.
