Problems of Conventional Agriculture and Opportunities to Overcome Its Effects on the Environment

Abstract

The development of modern society requires development of agricultural production as well. Public and farmer's awareness should be focused on more pressing issue for the impact of conventional agriculture and its consequences. Improper solution to the issue connected with the problem of finding a balance between growing population, its feeding and increasingly shrinking amount of arable land is associated with intensification of agricultural production at the expense of the environment. The purpose of this report is by clarifying the impact of conventional farming to bring alternatives to deal with the negative consequences of it.
