Abstract

The rapid technological changes, rise competition in the markets of goods and services, increase in the uncertainty of the macroeconomic environment and the continuous modification of the consumption patterns of the economic agents have made information a key element for the management and growth of business organizations. In this order, companies that strive to manage the data obtained from their activity become more competitive as they reach an effective decision making and manage to reduce their production costs. This article aims to diagnose and make proposals for the management of information systems of micro, small and medium enterprises in the province of El Oro, Ecuador.
