A strategic analysis model for non-profit organizations. Selected agricultural organizations

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta el desarrollo de un Modelo de Análisis estratégico para Organizaciones Agrícolas sin fines de Lucro, aplicado en particular al Centro Campesino Mucuchíes “El Convite”. En el Estado Mérida existe un número considerable organizaciones de este tipo, en las cuales el lucro no es el fin último sino un medio para mantener los diferentes programas sociales que ofrecen; por otra parte, en las difíciles condiciones actuales de la economía venezolana, estas organizaciones deben desarrollarse y ser gerenciadas contando con herramientas adecuadas a esta realidad, de forma tal que contribuyan, de alguna manera, a lograr su éxito y competitividad. El modelo se desarrolla en dos etapas: en la primera se evalúa la organización en su totalidad (durante cuatro años), para concluir con el diagnóstico estratégico; en la segunda se define a futuro, en cinco años, la estrategia genérica, las acciones estratégicas a seguir, la estructura y el perfil gerencial más adecuado a la estrategia.
