Abstract

The paper revisits the debate on the economic calculation from an epistemological and institutional perspective. The critiques against Mises’s theory are classified into two categories: trivial and non-trivial solutions. They are presented and systematically compared. The aim is to contribute to explicit the difference between the dominant paradigm in economics represented by the market socialism solutions and the Austrian school of economics.
