Abstract

Uno de los avances teóricos recientes de la teoría moderna de economía financiera ha sido el estudio del papel que los precios cumplen en agregar y transmitir la información privada que poseen los distintos participantes en el mercado. Este trabajo revisa y discute esta literatura, incluyendo el concepto de equilibrio de expectativas racionales, el proceso de formación de precios, el ajuste de precios a la información, la especulación, y la relación entre transacciones “ruido” y precios.
