Abstract

En las últimas décadas, la Economía Social ha experimentado una importante expansión como modelo económico que ofrece nuevas respuestas a los problemas socioeconómicos del sistema colocando a las personas y sus necesidades por delante del capital y los beneficios. Dentro de las organizaciones de la Economía Social, podemos señalar a las empresas de inserción como empresas sociales que en la situación actual de crisis socioeconómica y precarización laboral generalizada, en el marco de las políticas activas de empleo, destacan como instrumentos que luchan contra la exclusión de personas con dificultades de integración sociolaboral fomentando su empleabilidad y su calidad de vida. Junto a los apoyos de las instituciones públicas, el acompañamiento social, laboral y educativo que se realiza en las mismas, pasa por ser el factor clave en cuanto al éxito de la inclusión social y laboral de las personas en situación de exclusión sobre las que se trabaja.
