Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den vergangenen Jahren hat der Welthandel im Durchschnitt schwächer zugelegt als vor der globalen Finanzkrise. Gleichzeitig haben auch die deutschen Exporte an Fahrt verloren. Die Autoren untersuchen, wie sich diese Entwicklungen auf den deutschen Weltmarktanteil ausgewirkt haben und welche Rolle die regionale Struktur der Exporte dabei spielt. Die europäischen Volkswirtschaften nehmen nach wie vor den Großteil der deutschen Güter ab. Der deutsche Weltmarktanteil wird daher vor allem von der Entwicklung der Marktposition Deutschlands in der EU, aber auch in den USA getrieben.
