Barriers to the Use of Mobile Technologies from the Perspective of Individual Users Exemplified by the Case of Students of the Warsaw University

Abstract

The main goal of this article is to present the barriers faced by mobile technology from the individual users’ perspective. The paper bases on the author’s own research conducted in 2017 among the students of the Warsaw University. The article presents a short description of the mobile technology market both in the context of the home market and worldwide. The main part of the paper is devoted to a detailed discussion of the barriers associated with the use of mobile technologies and the presentation of results.
