The Geography of Crowdfunding

Abstract

In this paper the concept of web-based crowdfunding is discussed. The focus is on the effectiveness of crowdfunding campaigns and the affiliation of financing projects. The so-called geographical space of crowdfunding projects is analysed in Polish provinces, towns and villages, accordingly. The Wspieram.to system has been chosen for the study.
