Intercultural communication: problems and tendencies

Abstract

This article deals with the problems of intercultural communication as a developing science, analyses its formation, stages and main approaches. It also presents the possible vectors of its development. World's evolution demands healthy coexistence not only between different countries, but within one country, one ethnic, one group of people. It discusses both social and individual factors which influence the act of communication.
