Abstract

By raising and discussing ten questions, this paper attempts to continue the dialogue between economists and legal scholars. The questions examine the nature of causal relationship, the benchmarks used in economics and legal studies, the meanings of morality, the strengths and weaknesses of doctrinal analysis, and the generality of legal theories. The paper concludes with a summary of the implications of the economic approach to legal scholars. JEL classification : B41, K10.
