Abstract

À partir des données résultant de l’enquête menée en 2015 sur les citoyens et ménages camerounais, cet article analyse les effets de l’interaction sociale sur l’usage d’Internet pour la recherche d’informations en lien avec les études. L’estimation du modèle économétrique montre qu’il existe un multiplicateur social de 1,79. Du point de vue des pouvoirs publics, l’influence du réseau social implique qu’une politique visant à améliorer la recherche d’informations en relation avec les études est susceptible d’avoir un effet global supérieur à la somme des effets individuels prédits en l’absence d’interaction sociale.
