Strategies Of Luxury Brands In The New Socio-Economic Context

Abstract

The paper presents the strategies adopted by luxury brands in the context of new challenges related to social responsibility. Thus, trends are presented regarding the foundation and implementation of strategies of luxury brands that respond to the major problem of today's society, namely the fact that fashion is highly polluting, contributing to climate change. Also, the paper presents the results of a study on the attitude of European consumers towards the sustainability and transparency of the supply chain from luxury industry.
