Ranking of the level of development of innovative economy in Tatarstan by representatives of Kazan innovative companies

Abstract

An innovative economy capable of generating a mass flow of innovations, especially demanding on science and education, the conditions for the freedom of creativity, entrepreneurship, the development of intelligence. For Russia, this means the need for major institutional reforms. To understand what are the prospects and problems see managers and employees of companies in the development of innovative economy in the Republic of Tatarstan, interviews were conducted with leaders of 14 innovative companies of Kazan and five of their employees (three of them are IT-companies and two - a biotech company). During the interview were the main factors of innovation and challenges to it.
