Regional clusters as a tool for sustainable economic growth of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article defines the role of regional clusters in the economy. Problems of sustainable development of regional systems acquired at the moment of particular relevance in view of the preservation of a strong differentiation of the Russian Federation in terms of socio-economic development. In the context of the problem in Russia is long overdue need to identify and implement the concept of regional policy aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth areas by encouraging the search mechanisms of endogenous development. In light of this article is offered purposeful creation in the Russian economy of regional clusters as one of the most effective forms of integration of economic entities, and their motivation for expanded reproduction and, as a consequence, to the serial welfare of the population and the level of his life. Regional Strategy for Sustainable Development should be focused primarily on increasing the economic potential of the territories.
