Formation of Institutes of Competition in Russia’s Business Environment at the Turn Of The XIX—XX Centuries

Abstract

This article analyzes the trade industrial and industrial conventions of entrepreneurs in Russia at the turn of XIX—XX centuries. Based on the analysis of the AllRussian trade and industry conventions, meetings of the Owners of the Volga basin, and congresses of the Baku oil dealers the main forms and methods of competition in addressing both intra and intersectoral issues, as well as the role of government in regulating these processes are revealed.
