Abstract

Problems of energy conservation made the search for alternative fuels, and primarily designing and manufacturing of hybrids and pure electric cars actual. In recent years electric vehicles (EV) and full hybrids (PHEV) are produced by more and more well-known car manufacturers. World production of electric cars is developing rapidly on a global scale, but its formation in California as a whole and in Silicon Valley in particular is of special scope.
