Abstract

El artículo expone el desarrollo del Japón basándose en la economía evolutiva y en la conformación de sistemas nacionales de innovación, los que impulsan la producción, el desarrollo industrial y empresarial y el bienestar económico nacional. Japón es el prototipo de una economía que ha centrado su desarrollo en la innovación y progreso tecnológico y organizativo, tanto en la esfera productiva como comercial. El texto considera cuatro etapas de: 1874 a 1917, de 1917 a 1950, de 1950 a 1986 y de 1986 a 2016, refiriéndose en cada período a los sectores económicos más representativos del cambio y progreso económico
