Abstract

This paper searches to analyze the structure and dynamics of the economic processes of the globalization by checking out old paradigms of the economic science and retrofitting them to the current realities of the XXI century. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to take some theoretical ideas from the classical economists to explain the new retail trade process in Mexico from the perspective of its participation in the process of globalization in the last decade of the last century.
