Pensar la democracia en Bolivia

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad meditar acerca de la democracia boliviana durante el primer mandato del presidente Evo Morales (2006-2012). Primeramente se reflexionará sobre la democracia, para luego explicar cómo funciona en Bolivia; posteriormente se analizarán los Indicadores de Desarrollo Democrático de América Latina (IDD-LAT) de Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, entre los años 2005 y 2012, centrados en Bolivia. En esta línea se trabajará con la variable “el ejercicio del poder efectivo para gobernar”. Esta variable tiene dos subíndices: “capacidad para generar políticas que aseguren bienestar” y “capacidad para generar políticas que aseguren eficiencia económica”.
