Abstract

Bu çalışmada ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin farklı demografik özelliklerinin özgüven düzeylerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2016-2017 yılı eğitim öğretim yılında, T.C. Trabzon Valiliği Ortahisar İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise devlet okullarında görev yapan yöneticiler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya 155 erkek, 32 kadın yönetici katılmış (n=187), toplanan veriler SPSS programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon katsayısı, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, F (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U ve Kruskall Wallis H testlerinin yapıldığı analizlerde kadın yöneticilerin özgüvenlerinin erkek yöneticilerden bir miktar fazla olduğu ve ayrıca çalışılan okul türünün özgüvene etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
