Globalización como estrategia de desarraigo ecosocial. Una mirada desde La Gran Transformación

Abstract

El amplio reconocimiento de las aportaciones al estudio de la globalización de Polanyi (1944) en La Gran Transformación, nos ha llevado a revisar la actualidad de su propuesta para la deslegitimación del mercado global como estrategia de los poderosos para el desarraigo social de la economía. Nuestro segundo objetivo será determinar el papel de las burocracias internas de los Estados nación para extender la globalización, aplicando el estudio a los casos de la globalización académica y las ciudades globales, que ejemplarizan la conversión del trabajo y la tierra en mercancías ficticias. Como tercer objetivo, exploramos a través de la literatura y las comunidades de prácticas las vías de resistencia convergentes a las propuestas por Polanyi, impulsoras de soluciones o respuestas germinales a la segregación clasista de la globalización.
