Abstract

En el momento en que se publique esta introducción y el artículo que sigue hará justo un año de la muerte de Herman Edward Daly. Sirvan estas páginas para homenajear a quien fue y es un referente principal de la economía ecológica por sus aportaciones contra corriente y su capacidad de difundir de forma sencilla una mirada muy diferente a la economía respecto a la que era dominante hace medio siglo y que aún se resiste, aunque con muchas más fisuras, a aceptar algunos principios elementales de la realidad de los sistemas económicos
