Régimen alimentario corporativo y lucha contra el hambre

Abstract

Las metas fijadas por Naciones Unidas en la lucha contra el hambre no se cumplieron en 2015 ni se van a cumplir en 2030 si todo sigue como hasta ahora. En este artículo se argumenta que ello se debe a que las medidas planteadas para lograrlas no ponen en cuestión el régimen alimentario corporativo en el que se aplican, fruto de la globalización neoliberal. Porque tanto la liberalización comercial como la desregulación financiera representan obstáculos que dificultan enormemente su éxito. Por ello, se plantea que mientras no se cuestione seriamente el poder corporativo global difícilmente se podrá conseguir cumplir el segundo Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible: hambre cero. Y como alternativa se propone avanzar por la vía de la soberanía alimentaria y la agroecología.
