Sobre el premio 'Nobel' en economía 2023: Claudia Goldin, la frontera feminista de la ortodoxia económica

Abstract

Claudia Goldin ha sido galardonada con el Premio Nobel de Economía de 2023. Tercera mujer en ganar el Nobel de economía, y tercer premio a la Historia Económica, su investigación se ha centrado en la comprensión de las desigualdades de género en la configuración y evolución de los mercados de trabajo. Sus contribuciones científicas más relevantes se pueden sintetizar en dos ámbitos. Por un lado, sus aportaciones sobre la tasa de participación de las mujeres en los mercados de trabajo en el largo plazo y el impacto que determinados momentos históricos han tenido en esa evolución. Por otro lado, las numerosas aportaciones centradas en un mejor entendimiento de las elecciones profesionales y familiares de las mujeres graduadas universitarias.
