Abstract

El texto examina la posición estructural de los factores estructurales de la industria de bienes de equipo con el objeto de aproximarnos a algunos de los factores que determinan la brecha de productividad que separa a esta industria de la de nuestros principales competidores en la Unión Europea. Dicho análisis se aborda a partir de un conjunto de indicadores que revelan los puntos fuertes y débiles de su inserción productiva y comercial. Su evolución pone de manifiesto que, aun teniendo en cuenta la diversidad productiva existente, la situación de esta industria se caracteriza por un relativo rezago estructural.
