La economía del cuidado: planteamiento actual y desafíos pendientes

Abstract

Este escrito corresponde a dos conferencias. Una realizada en “La casa encendida” de Madrid dentro del ciclo “Los retos del siglo XXI: otro mundo es necesario” en junio de 2010 y la segunda realizada en el curso “Lecturas y salidas alternativas a la crisis” en el marco de los Cursos de Verano de la Fundación General de la Universidad Complutense, El Escorial, julio 2010. Está dividido en dos partes. En la primera se presenta una propuesta realizada desde la economía feminista que visibiliza y reconoce el trabajo de cuidados y, en la segunda, se esbozan unos primeros intentos de analizar la posibilidad de integrar el trabajo doméstico y de cuidados en los modelos o procesos económicos, desvelando los problemas que ello implicaría.
