La norma del tiempo de trabajo en España

Abstract

A pesar de los problemas metodológicos e instrumentales para observar plenamente el concepto de tiempo de trabajo, porque tiene más dimensiones que la de duración, en horas, de la jornada laboral, diferentes resultados muestran cómo se está perdiendo la denominada norma del tiempo de trabajo. Un modelo centrado en la norma del empleo masculino en el capitalismo fordista. Este paper analiza la evolución reciente del tiempo de trabajo en España, donde puede verse cómo ha crecido el trabajo en domingo y cómo se ha detenido la tendencia a trabajar menos horas. Cuando se establece la opción entre estabilidad en el trabajo –referido, por lo tanto, a la vida laboral- y desregulación del tiempo de trabajo, los trabajadores optan por la segunda opción. A primera vista, es la desregulación del empleo lo que está llevando a la desregulación del tiempo de trabajo.
