Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper offers a quantitative estimation of the likely effects of the European Structural and Cohesion funds on the main Andalusian macroeconomic variables for the 1989-2013 period. To that end, we use an adaptation of the Hermin-Spain model to Andalusia economy. This adaptation not only considers the structural characteristics of the Andalusian economy, but it also allows us to compare the evolution of these variables with and without the European funds under study.
