Abstract

ABSTRACT Migratory movements stand out among the globalization phenomena that today affect to near all countries. Every year more than 100 millions of migrants move in the world, and these migratins grow increasingly. Mass media have an important psychological impact in such behavior, besides the bad economic situation of origin countries. Young people are in consequence stimulated to migrate to developed countries. In the last 20 years West Mediterranean area become one of the key points in this problem. Sudddenly, Spain has been transformed from country of emigrants to country of immigrants, with manifold consequences.
