Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo estudia el comportamiento regional del empleo autónomo en el periodo 1995-2005 mediante diversos indicadores empleados en los análisis relacionados con la dinámica empresarial. El objetivo es comprobar si existen diferencias significativas entre las diversas regiones españolas en relación con el empleo autónomo; analizar si la evolución del empleo autónomo está asociada a la evolución del crecimiento económico y del empleo por cuenta ajena; y, por último, estudiar las pautas cíclicas intrarregionales del empleo autónomo. ABSTRACT This work studies the regional behaviour of the self-employed work in period 1995-2005 by means of diverse indicators used in the analyses related to enterprise dynamics. The objective is to verify if exist significant differences between the different Spanish regions in relation to the selfemployed work; to analyze if the evolution of the self-employed work is associated with the evolution of the economic growth and in the evolution of employee work; and, finally, to study the cyclical guidelines of the self-employed work in each one of the regions.
