El desarrollo de los estudios de Economía Regional en España

Abstract

RESUMEN El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer una visión panorámica de la evolución de los estudios regionales en España desde la óptica de la Economía. Tras una breve introducción, en la sección 2 se exponen algunos rasgos del lento proceso de incorporación del territorio la variable \'espacio\' - en los análisis económicos. Posteriormente se estudian (sección 3) los factores que más han influido en el desarrollo de los estudios regionales en el contexto europeo. Y, por último (sección 4), el autor muestra los sucesivos impulsos que, en su opinión, han conducido a consolidar y alcanzar el excelente nivel actual de los estudios de Economía Regional en nuestro país. Unas breves notas finales cierran el artículo. ABSTRACT The main objective of this paper is to offer a panoramic approach to the evolution of regional economic studies in Spain. From a short introduction, the section 2 shows some features of the slow process of integrating the space territory - in the economic analysis. Section 3 analyses the most relevant factors which have influenced on the development regional studies in Europe as a framework for the Spanish case. And, finally, taking the preceding ideas into account the author explores the main driving factors which have carried to consolidate regional economic studies in Spain, reaching the excellent level they show today. A short number of final remarks close the paper.w
