Epistemología, economía y espacio/ territorio: del individualismo al holismo

Abstract

RESUMEN Muchos son los estudios que analizan la realidad desde una perspectiva espacial o territorial. En algunas ocasiones ambos términos se utilizan como si de sinónimos se tratara. No obstante, su significado es muy distinto. Para desentrañar las diferencias entre uno y otro es preciso ver la forma en la que han sido construidos. Para ello, es necesario revisar el modo en el que se ha conceptualizado teóricamente la relación entre la economía y espacio/ territorio. Estas relaciones tienen un componente epistemológico (concepción de la ciencia) y ontológico (concepción del ser social). El objetivo de este artículo es revisar estos elementos. ABSTRACT Social reality is frequently analysed from a spatial or territorial perspective. Sometimes, both concepts are used like synonyms. But, its meaning is very different. It is necessary to analyse relations between economics and space / territory in order to understand existing differences between both concepts. These relations have epistemological and ontological components. The aim of this article is to refer these elements
